Auburn Garden Club Begins New Year
The Auburn Garden Club begins their 2008-09 club year on Monday, September 22nd, and all gardeners are welcome….no skill level is involved, just the interest and desire to learn.
This years’ programs will include…. vegetable gardening for all seasons; information on insects (the good, the bad, the ugly); a program on organic gardening; information on new plant introductions for 2009; a program about honey bees; all about Cymbidium orchids and a program devoted to the proper care of trees.
The club meets on the 4th Monday of each month (except June, July, August and December) at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1279 High Street (near the entrance to the Fairgrounds). Meetings start at 9:00 am sharp, with a social time from 10:00 to 10:30 am, followed by a program.
