Business expo a hit
By Don Chaddock, The Telegraph

More than 2,000 people came through the doors of the Folsom Sports Complex Thursday to check out the vendors at the Folsom Connection 2010, formerly known as the BizExpo.

Estimates taken mid-day Thursday put the number around 1,000, so the final tally is double earlier predictions.

Food samples were provided by BJ's Brewhouse, Coffee Republic, Fats Asian Bistro, Fughedaboutitz Italian Ice, Scott's Seafood, Sequoia, Tahoe Joe's, Tasty Time and more.

Other featured businesses ranged from Mercy Hospital to Folsom Lake Bank.

The expo was a way for businesses to market directly to residents by offering free samples.
