In a recent article about the Lake Natoma Waterfront project, Warren Truitt of the Save the American River Association wonders if the parkway project has much support.

As a frequent user of the Lake Natoma trails and bikeways, I am in full support of this project. The project will enhance access to this area and provide much needed connectivity to adjacent trails and attractions.

All projects have impacts, and I encourage Mr. Truitt and his organization to work with the project sponsor and the State park system to minimize these impacts. The end result will be a facility which is an asset to the community.
