County Habitat for Humanity holds open house Dec. 20
The El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity is holding an open house on Dec. 20 where they will raffle off one of two playhouses. The playhouses are 6 feet by 8 feet and were built by Habitat volunteers using materials from the Habitat ReStore with some of the building materials donated. The construction was organized by El Dorado Hills Realtor Sally Long Johns and her family. The open house will take place at Habitat's ReStore located at 6168 Pleasant Valley Road in El Dorado from 2 to 5 p.m. with the raffle taking place at 3. Refreshments, food, music and a visit from Santa are all part of Habitat for Humanity's Holiday celebration. Raffle tickets for the playhouses are now being sold for $5 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling (530) 621-2111 or at the Habitat ReStore, Coldwell Banker Realty in El Dorado Hills.
