Mark Ferreira, the guy at Stage Nine Theatre/Garbeau’s in Folsom, has had some explaining to do.

It seems that Mark Ferreira’s name is very similar to Mark Barrera and many have wondered if he’s the same guy involved in the triple-fatal accident on Salmon Falls Road the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Barrera is from Rocklin and is the sole survivor of the crash that claimed the lives two other Rocklin residents and a Folsom High School senior. For more on that story, see the front page of this week's paper.

Ferreira is doing just fine, was not involved in any accident, and is, as they say, “on the right side of the grass.”

Telegraph happenings

The Telegraph finished physically moving into its new offices at 921 Sutter St., but some things apparently didn’t make the move as they should. One of those would be our direct phone lines.

A “work order” snafu left many asking if we’d gone under when they received a message from the friendly phone company telling them the number they tried to dial was “disconnected or no longer in service.”

Phones should be back to normal soon, so bear with us.
