Placer Sports poll - most likely to fall?
Week two of the enlarged football playoff field has arrived, and after an opening night of blowouts, this Friday promises some competitive matchups. We want to hear from our readers about what you expect to see when this week's results are posted. Our new online poll asks the question in the only way to let you give us one answer - which team is most likely to lose? What we really want to know is who you think will win and why, both by logging on to www.placersports.com and selecting one of our listed teams as most likely to be knocked out this week and by sharing your comments at the bottom of this story or that poll. We did not include Del Oro, an underdog as it travels to D-II top seed St. Mary's in Stockton, in our list of choices, but we won't be at all surprised to see the Golden Eagles pull a surprise here. What do you think? Lincoln, the top seed in Division IV-A, hosts No. 4 Sonora, while Placer, No. 3 in that same bracket, caught a break when seventh-seeded Calaveras upset No. 2 Dixon last week, giving the Hillmen another home game this week. D-II No. 2 Rocklin has moved its game with No. 10 Atwater to the turf at Whitney High. Those three local teams are all favored to move on, but will one of them fall? What do you think? The last two teams on our list of choices includes one team that will lose Friday night. D-II No. 5 Granite Bay visits No. 4 Folsom, so one of those teams will win and the other lose. Do you have a sense of which one will fall or is this one too close to call? Log on to our poll question at www.placersports.com and tell us, and the rest of our readers, what you think.

Folsom will be too much for GB to handle. Too much size, speed & atheletism to handle. THis game will be over at half. 48-10
that's an amazing comment, unless you're a granite bay fan and you're trying to get them pumped.otherwise, nocalfootball must stand for i know nothing about california football.to each his own suppose, but i'd love to get those points on any friendly wager.no team plays a tougher schedule than gb;and i'm a placer fan.
I can't imagine Folsom beating Granite Bay at all much less by more than five TDs. I see Granite Bay winning by at least a TD.
Apparently, one of the three fell....and it wasn't Placer or Rocklin. Congrats Hillmen on your win! You've got another game at home for your offs. Congrats Thunder on your game! Will be interesting to see where CIF decides the neutral territory is for your game against Grant.
Sorry Mojo on your loss. You had a great season. Good luck next year in the PVL.
Lincoln fell, it's been coming for a long time. Lucky to get past Whitney and Placer both. A lucky duck and a timely fumble but giving up 36? wow.
Where is coda a "Mojo" and all the Panther nonsense now?
Lucky?? Call it whatever you want.....We WON!!! We are the PVL CHAMPS! We're so LUCKY!!
10,
The article is about who is going to fall. I think I am in my rights to my opinion? That is the jist of the article. Do I think L was lucky to beat Whit and P both, yes I do. P fumbled going in for thr winning points and A duck landed between two defenders against Whit and the players were twisted around. Yes the chips fell your way, Played again would that happen again? I don't think and bet you don't either.
Did I think L would win the section, No not even close. I didn't think but knew they would fall. I good thu.
Congrats on the PVL banner and just maybe we'll see you in the off's again?
