El Dorado Hills residents rallied on a recent evening for the proposed Lake Forest Park.

Ballots were sent out on April 27 to all residents north of Green Valley Road, according to Jan Wilcox.

"The plan for Lake Forest Park is ideal! It provides play structures and swings for our young kids as well as great amenities for all ages – tennis courts, bocce ball, nature trails, and more," according to Sean Hansen. "For less than the price of 2 cups of coffee a month, we'll get a $1 million park, preserve open space and build a place where memories will be made."
